This time I agree with 4 out of 5 which is pretty good.

I agree.
While I think his performance in Call Me By Your Name turned him into a star to watch and should definitely make some lists, Intersteller came before and showed us how strong his screen presence is. He plays the son to Matthew McConaughey’s planet seeking astronaut father but steals the father son goodbye scene.
The votes for Drama are split between:
- Marty Supreme – 50%
- Beautiful Boy – 50%
I agree.
He is amazing as a troubled drug addicted son in Beautiful Boy, but has grown into a full adult actor in Marty Supreme. My pick of the two is Marty Supreme because he has matured to an extent that he is believable as someone with life experiences and the knowledge of what failure can mean.

I think it should be Wonka, but have to agree he is great in both.
He has a great role in Don’t Look Up, but not a big enough role to win a performance award. His Willy Wonka shows his ability to shift from serious to comedic and drives home his level of talent.

How could playing Laurie be anything other than comforting.

I disagree
I am all in for A Complete Unknown. Dune is a fun sci-fi, but I think his character is flat. His portrayal of Bob Dylan shows us how diverse his talent runs and I think provides a clearer picture of what he has to offer.
